SEO Specialist
What we need here is someone who can talk the talk and walk the walk. You will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of SEO across a large enterprise organisation.

You will be responsible for getting “buy in” across department heads and answering questions about “why SEO is needed” and more importantly be able to work with developers who themselves are “experts” in SEO. You will be able to convey the strategy and just as importantly why your approach is going to work, backed up by previous and ongoing results. Experience with large and complex campaigns that cover all areas of SEO and Social media is required so be ready with examples.

This is a client side role through The Web Company to one of our clients. This company is a large enterprise player in both New Zealand and Australia. They compete in a market that is fierce so SEO is important and they understand that investment in this area is just as important.

What you will need…

  • Proven experience with SEO in either an agency or client side environment.
  • Experience putting together complex SEO strategies across a number of areas.
  • Understanding of business objectives and getting “buy in” across department heads as well as developers.
  • Examples of previous projects, budgets, results, etc. The more recent and relevant with the ability to demonstrate results would be best.
  • Experience with all SEO tools and techniques that include Link Building, keyword analysis, competition analysis, etc.
  • On-page and Off-page SEO to include Meta tagging, site structure, etc
  • Industry certifications or qualifications (bachelor of Marketing, BCs, Adwords Certified or DMA certification, etc) would be ideal.

Web Sales Professional

The Web Company is an award winning leading internet marketing and web solutions provider. An opportunity has arisen for a talented sales professional to join our small but effective team. This is a hunter role that will see you working closely with business owners and senior managers primarily in the SME market to help them identify online marketing opportunities for their businesses and negotiating value adding business partnerships.

To be successful in this role you must be business minded, exceptionally driven and comfortable negotiating high value marketing solutions at senior levels. A genuine passion for helping business owners more effectively market their business would also be advantageous to your success in the role. Whilst a thorough understanding of modern SEM techniques will be highly preferred, a successful marketing or advertising sales professional with a technical mind and strong interest in the web may also succeed in this role.

  • An Olympic standard focus on prospecting, record keeping and relentless follow up before and long after the sale is made.
  • Personal discipline in conducting one’s sales business at or above ‘best practice’ with regard to the basics that all of us know, but that so many of us, through lack or personal discipline, ignore.
