Google Search Engines

In the eyes of Google, Mobile Websites are totally different from desktop websites, Google now has a completely different search engine index of mobile sites.

google.com/m/

This is the Google Mobile Search Engine, designed for mobile device users which is very different from the main Google.com search engine.

The only way to become indexed in Googles mobile search engine, is to have the correct code, settings and functionality.

Google has made it clear that it will ignore any site that does not have mobile compatible code in their mobile search index.

Googles thoughts..

Most mobile users are inclined to take immediate ‘real world’ action and are rather more likely to do so that their PC counterparts.

According to Google’s Surojit Chatterjee, “People searching on their mobiles have a much higher intent. The time between intent and action has been narrowed.”

Currently, google is including most results from their main search engine into the mobile results site, but as mobile technology evolves, they will begin to only index mobile compatible sites into the mobile search engine.

To have a mobile compatible site, it must be written in proper markup language (web code) that Google can understand before they index your site in their mobile search engine so that visitors can find you.

And that is just what we do – We create mobile compatible websites that Google will understand.
